A 1/2 mile hike will get you up close and personal with Hiker's Peril Falls. The only view of this one is from the footbridge that crosses directly in front of it. The photo above was taken from this footbridge.

Directions to falls:
1. Take hwy 28 north from Walhalla.
2. Turn right on hwy 107 toward Cashiers, NC.
3. Just before the state line, park in the Sloan Bridge parking area on the left.
4. The trail begins at the south end of the parking lot and follows the East Fork of the Chattooga River.
